Why is OutpostLE different than other online shopping marketplaces?
Traditional online shopping sites offer a single solution to one type of vendor, retail vendors selling items online. OutpostLE offers this solution, but we don't stop there. Our offering delivers on three equally important areas of e-commerce that are very segregated in today's world.
Most importantly, we focus our solution in your customer's local shopping area market. Customers want to shop locally and want to know who in their area offers the products and services they want. Second, our offering does not just support retail vendors. We also provide a solution for service-oriented vendors who would like to have their website available to those who are shopping in the marketplace. A central location for all local business types being visited and available by all local customers truly delivers on the "one-stop-shop" experience. Finally, we want vendors to showcase and market to the local community who they are and what their business offers. Posting products on traditional e-commerce sites does just that, allows you to sell your products co-mingled with other vendor products. OutpostLE offers you as the vendor an ability to build out a full website for your business that is accessible via the OutpostLE marketplace for those opportunities when customers want to see what else you have to offer.

Who is OutpostLE?
OutpostLE was created by a North Carolina small business development company based in the Triangle Area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill). Our team lives and has worked in the Raleigh area for up to 20 years. Our experiences are in consulting, software development, and e-commerce solutions.

Vendor Subscription Pricing / Packages
What If I want to have more than one Marketing Banner on your site?
You, of course, will have that ability. Once you choose one Sponsorship type and would like another, please contact us directly, and we will work with you on fair pricing.
What do you mean by Outreach Initiatives?
We will keep you posted on OutpostLE 's Outreach Initiatives, which will include such events as Food Drives, Feeding the Homeless, Helping a School…etc. You will be alongside us as a sponsor and gives you the ability to show your support for our community. This will help you make genuine connections within the community and with your customers.
When and how do the Social Media Blasts work?
To boost your online and community presence in addition to the marketing banners, OutpostLE will send out six strategically sent Social Media Blasts per year if you've signed up for one of the Sponsor Level plans. This can include Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, and Instagram. We will work with you on the platform to reach more of your customer base.
How does my sponsorship work if I'm in the trial period?
You will need to pay for your sponsorship starting on the day you sign up, even if you are in one of our trial periods. Don't worry; we have accounted for that and included the free months in our pricing. We want you to be successful while making it affordable.
Why are there 2 prices listed under each sponsorship?
The first indicates if you choose to pay for your Sponsorship on a Month to Month basis. The second price suggests if you'd like to pay for your yearly Sponsorship upfront, which will discount your total cost per year.
Do I need to have a "Basic" or "Preferred" account along with the Sponsorship?
Yes, however, we include the Preferred Account Type as a part of your Corporate Sponsorship.
What are the 4 levels of Corporate Sponsorships and what do they include?
COMMUNITY ($190/ Month or $2,050/ Year) - A featured OutpostLE Homepage Marketing Header Banner (Limited to 3 Vendors total), a Tailored OutpostLE Virtual Storefront(Preferred Plan Included), 6 Custom media blasts for your business, no setup fee or listing costs, and the ability to participate in our local community outreach programs.
LOCAL PLUS ($160/Month or $1,728/Year) - A featured OutpostLE Homepage Marketing Footer Banner (Limited to 3 Vendors total), a tailored OutpostLE Virtual Storefront(Preferred Plan Included), 6 Custom media blasts for your business, no setup fee or listing costs and the ability to participate in our local community outreach programs.
LOCAL ($130/ Month or $1,400/ Year) - An OutpostLE Main-Category Header Marketing Banner (i.e. Retail, Services, Food and Beverage) (Limited to 3 Vendors total per Main-Category), a tailored OutpostLE Virtual Storefront(Preferred Plan Included), 6 Custom media blasts for your business, no setup fee or listing costs and the ability to participate in our local community outreach programs.
NEIGHBORHOOD ($100/ Month or $1,080/ Year) - An OutpostLE Sub-Category Header Marketing Banner (related to your virtual store type)( i.e. Retail/Jewelry, Services/Therapeutic, Food and Beverage/Restaurant/Burgers) (Limited to 3 Vendors total per Sub-Category), a tailored OutpostLE Virtual Storefront(Preferred Plan Included), 6 Custom media blasts for your business, no setup fee or listing costs and the ability to participate in our local community outreach programs.
What are Sponsor Level Pricing/Corporate Sponsorships?
The Sponsor Level Pricing and Marketing feature give you the ability to advertise and increase your marketing presence. The plan you select will drive where your marketing banner is seen within OutpostLE. The banner will include a link to your OutpostLE Virtual StoreFront. In addition to your banner and link, the corporate sponsorship will consist of all items within the "Preferred" vendor package, six custom social media blasts, and the ability to participate in OutpostLE Community outreach initiative.
If I am participating in the introductory subscription offer what happens when my introductory period is over?
30 days before your introductory period expiring you will work with the OutpostLE sales & marketing team to determine if you will continue with services at the current prices listed on www.outpostle.info.
If you are continuing services, you will be asked to agree to a year’s subscription.
Why is there a subscription cost?
Since we have no setup or listing fees, the subscription costs help us maintain the main OutpostLE marketplace, vendor-specific websites, system upgrades, hosting and customer service to ensure your customers have a Consistent quality experience
Is there a setup or listing fee?
Unlike a lot of e-commerce marketplaces, OutpostLE has zero setup &/or listing fees.
What is primary difference between the subscription packages of BASIC and PREFERRED?
▸ BASIC: This package is tailored to those vendors that do not plan to sell items on the marketplace. However, they would like a website presence for all the marketplace's customers.
▸ PREFERRED: This package offers it all, a full website for your business, the ability to sell your products and participate in a community marketplace, a shared shopping cart, multiple customer payment options, top sellers, deals, enhanced marketing, and a product catalog with unlimited products. You can also have a link to an existing website if you have one.

Can I transfer from BASIC subscription to PREFERRED subscription at any time?
You will be able to switch at any point. When ready, you can contact our sales and marketing team to assist you in that transition.

What are merchant processing fees?
OutpostLE uses STRIPE for merchant processing. Vendors will be required to have a stripe account, which is free to sign up. Stripe charges an industry standard of 2.9% +.30 cents per transaction.
How are Transaction Fees paid?
Once a purchase is made from your store, the total costs minus the 4% transaction fee will be deposited to your account. The 4% Transaction fee will go directly to OutpostLE. There are no other steps necessary.
